Roscommon County Transportation Authority provides non-emergency medical transportation to residents of Roscommon County to destinations all over the state of Michigan. Volunteering your time will help make someone else’s trip a possibility that otherwise they may not have been a possibility at all. Our volunteers play a vital role in making more trips happen in the community in the most cost effective way possible.

Volunteer Requirements:
-Because our volunteers are trained in the same ways as our regular drivers, all volunteers are required to undergo certain training criteria and keep up with certifications.
-Must undergo drug and alcohol testing and be entered into our drug/alcohol pool where you may be selected at anytime to submit to drug/alcohol testing.
-Must possess or be able to pass a DOT physical.
-Must possess or be able to acquire a chauffer’s license.
-Must pass a drivers license check and background check.
-Must be able to commit to volunteering at least once per month.
